This is a family of fonts that was originally designed by Donald Knuth for his TeX typesetting language. You have downloaded demo-versions of the regular, italic, and bold fonts. Most of the punctuation characters are missing in these demo fonts, which are also inflicted with a some other, very subtle, tell-tale signs.
